#4189: E3D V6 1.75MM HEAT BREAK
R16.80
The E3D V6 1.75mm heat break is a component of a 3D printer's extruder system. It is designed to separate the hot end, where the filament is melted and extruded, from the cold end, where the filament is fed into the hot end. The heat break is typically made of a heat-resistant metal, such as titanium, and is placed between the hot end and the cold end. Its main function is to prevent heat from flowing from the hot end to the cold end, which can cause the filament to become soft and jammed in the cold end. This heat break is compatible with 1.75mm filament.
The V6 heat break is used to channel filament through the Cooling Tower and straight into the heated Nozzle. The top end of the heat break inside the cooling tower is designed to stay cold while the bottom end inside the heat block will heat up which in turn will aid in rapidly heating up your Filament to the desired temperature in preparation for extrusion through the nozzle.
